About the Quartet Sketches...
Every two years or so (usually the summer), I have a lot of time of free and start practicing and composing, never made a living at it but getting closer.
This year a flute work and this quartet was created. Two years ago, I composed some organ works and choir arrangements not anywhere near the level of the current works.
With children, bringing up “Movie Music”, “Video Game” music, or even Rap music gets students' attention and I this kept in mind for the quartet. The “Venture“ movement will probably be the most popular among young listeners but everyone should understand this only part of the entire piece.
